Here are a few pictures from this la kuokoa day today. We finished clearing the mala wauke spot and filling this loi with huli. We got a laau kukahi moon, usually not good for planting fruit or seed bearing plants, but was our first time returning huli back to this loi so we thought was kupono. We will monitor throughout the year and see how fruitful it was. Yesterday was kulu, and was the first time I ever seen alae ula in Kukanono, running and swimming around in our lowest loi and "bird pond". We heard them again today, but unfortunately I couldnt get a picture.
Ke aloha,
